Jim Sweeney is the founder and chief executive officer of Sweeney. A marketing and public relations expert with more than 30 years of experience, he has consulted with and served hundreds of consumer, business, industrial, professional and institutional brands, including: Anchor Hocking Avery Dennison, BF Goodrich, Boston Market, Chase Bank, Cleveland Clinic, Hoover, KitchenAid, Mr. Clean, Nordson Corporation, Price/Costco, Sears, Tylenol, WearEver, and Westfield Shoppingtowns.

Jim is a high level strategic thinker and does not let barriers stand in the way of implementing a good idea. He never lets himself, staff or vendors get complacent, and is always willing to take on a challenge no matter how big or difficult it may be.

Prior to establishing Sweeney in 1986, Jim managed the Cleveland office of Burson-Marsteller. Previously he was the vice president and general manager of public relations with Griswold (Cleveland) and an account executive with Burson-Marsteller/Chicago.

Jennifer Manocchio is the president of Sweeney. Jennifer joined the agency in 2002 after serving with Edelman at its headquarters in Chicago. In 2004, she opened the agency’s full-service office in Wilmington, NC.

A goal-oriented marketing professional, Jennifer is always pushing the limits of campaigns, media, bloggers, vendors, results, staff and herself.   She is always prepared and ready for the next big challenge – whether she is running a campaign or a marathon.

Throughout her tenure with the agency, Jennifer has serviced and managed many of the organization’s premier accounts (Assurant Preneed, Avery Dennison, Goo Gone, Kent State University, Lithonia Lighting, Proforma, Weiman Products and more) while also spearheading client services expansion and business development.
