SWEENEY APPOINTS GROUP MANAGER, VICE PRESIDENT

Aug. 23, 2004– – Sweeney, a Cleveland-based public relations firm, has promoted Paul Roetzer to group manager, vice president marketing & technology.

As group manager, Roetzer oversees the management and growth of consumer and business accounts, including: First Federal of Lakewood, Westfield Group, Kendall & Associates, Hy-Tech Products and the International Chemical Workers Union Council (ICWUC). His responsibilities also include group personnel training and management and new business development.

In the operational role of vice president marketing & technology, Roetzer directs the planning and implementation of agency marketing activities. He also is charged with researching, evaluating and implementing technologies that support agency growth and enhance the quality and efficiency of services Sweeney provides to its clients.

Roetzer joined Sweeney in 2000. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University, and is a PRSA Cleveland member.
