SWEENEY SPORTS MARKETING LANDS EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT FOR CLEVELAND EDITION OF THIS WEEK IN FOOTBALL

New sports marketing opportunity to benefit Northeast Ohio organizations

May 10, 2006 ­– Sweeney Sports Marketing, the sports and sponsorship arm of Sweeney, was named the exclusive marketing partner for the Cleveland edition of This Week in Football, Ohio’s most widely distributed fan magazine.

With editions in Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, This Week in Football is the only marketing property dedicated to previewing games locally, regionally and nationally, from high school to the NFL. The Cleveland edition’s 13 weekly issues will be distributed to more than 300 McDonald’s, Donatos and National City Bank locations throughout 12 Northeastern Ohio counties this fall including, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne.

"This Week in Football Cleveland edition is a special opportunity for Northeast Ohio organizations reaching the more than 80,000 Northeast Ohio football fans who read the magazine each week."

The publication delivers prognostication, news, statistical updates and authoritative commentary from big names in Ohio football, including former Ohio State quarterback and current ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit.
